Tasker Park C.C. Inc.

    Induction Letter – 2009/10

Welcome to Tasker Park C.C. formerly known as KWAAPOC. This letter provides you
with an introduction to the club.

The season runs from September to March. We play a combination of 1 day & 2 day games on
Saturday afternoons. The Mode of Competition in Administration outlines the playing conditions.

Registration is $150 and casuals pay $30 plus $20 per game capped at $150. The 11 players
are selected based on a criteria. The criteria rank is a commitment to game and training
availability, financial commitment, playing ability and a positive general team attitude.
All efforts are be made to play casuals for four games, qualifying them for the finals.
Refunds are based on the casual rate. Registration information is available in Registration.

We mainly umpire our own games. You are to accept the umpire’s decision as if they were
independent. Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. Upon report, The C&WSCA may fine
and suspend a player. In extreme cases Tasker Park C.C. may fine or expel players.
Please be respectful to all participants at all times Please read and sign the Declaration.

Basic gear is provided. Please refrain from using your teammate’s gear. Proper cricket
whites are to be worn. The shirt is to be collared and shoes need to be predominantly white.
If you are buying a helmet, the club's trim is dark blue. It is preferable that you wear
the Greg Chappell style white floppy hats as future badges may be easily sewn on.

You are playing cricket at your own risk. However the club and the C&WSCA have
insurance under the Australian Cricket National Insurance Program underwritten by
JLT Sport. Details are available at http://www.jltsport.com.au/CricketAustralia/.
It covers all players and club officials. However it's advisable that you have your own
personal insurance cover and wear a helmet when batting.

On game day please volunteer to assist in setting up and packing up, scoring and umpiring.
You are required to be at the game 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start.

Training is once a week and is part of the selection criteria. An improved performance
on game day makes for a more rewarding experience.

Please remember that you are part of a team, and you are expected to play your best and
contribute on and off the field. Anything else will be unsatisfactory. A winning culture helps
    maintain interest and enthusiasm.

I’m sure your will enjoy your time with Tasker Park C.C. I won’t have done my job if you don’t.
